Compulsory Creativity – Rethinking India’s Proposed AI Blanket Licence

This article attempts to evaluate the working paper by DPIIT and suggest policy changes while presenting a comparative analysis with relevant jurisdictions. The working paper’s constitutionality and compliance with the Competition Act, 2002, have been analysed, and recommendations are given to ensure the changes become constitutionally and economically viable.
